THE ERA OF GANG CONFLICTS (I gängkrigens tid)

This documentary series gives a unique insight into a gang-conflict that has raged in a Gothenburg suburb for ten years. It all started with a fight over a girl but soon escalated into a bloody war. Young men, some of them teenagers are shooting at each other with no respect for life. The conflict has killed at least 20 people, including two innocent children. It has now reached unreasonable proportions and is perceived by many as conflict that cannot be resolved.

The documentary series was nominated for the Swedish television award ”Kristallen” for best documentary.
